Peace Matters!

Peace Matters!

We’ve all heard the phrase, “Why do bad things happen to good people?” But the fact of the matter is that bad things can happen to all people. A diagnosis can hit us hard and leave us feeling that we’ve lost all control, lost our happiness, and lost our peace, but have we?

Each of us has struggled in life with difficult days. It can be the challenges of physical pains, frustrations from long-term medication regimens, emotional stress and worry, social anxiety, loss of hope, and lack of peace. But peace matters!

Peace can be found in many aspects of our lives and is essential for healing. Peace is vital to reconnecting with an inner calm that helps us more than we realize. According to research from the Mayo Clinic, meditation and yoga may help you think and feel better.

Some examples that can manifest peace are:

· Fresh flowers

· A favorite song

· Sounds of nature

· Self-care

· Yoga or meditation

· Visiting with family members or friends

And yes, some of us may have allergies to flowers, outdoor pollen, or even be unable to do yoga, but the point is to find peace. Find peace in the things that can manifest joy, bring us happiness, and create that inner warmth you need to experience.

Comment below on some of the ways in which you seek out peace, discover happiness, and experience joy.
